SHS Board of Directors for 2021
W.E. (Billy) Griffith, President
Betty Silvey, Treasurer
Directors: Maureen Juffs, Kal Helyar, Tom Lavis, Sue Grayston, Brad Christie, Mark Raaflaub, Mario Agosti
Our beloved President passed away on May 27, 2021. Family and friends have created a web site dedicated to his memory: Remembering Billy. You can share your words and photos there.
Even in these, his later years, Billy was an active volunteer and a most sought after mentor and educator.
He did many good and charitable deeds & he loved the Egmont Heritage Centre, which he founded.
Billy would often direct the people for whom he had done one of these good deeds, to the museum saying:
"If you really need to pay for my help then you can give it to the museum."
He was a generous man with his time (that ended too soon), his wealth (whatever he had) & his knowledge and wisdom (which, by all accounts, was beyond measure).
Thank you for taking this time to remember "Billy" with us. He is so very missed.
