The Egmont Heritage Centre is located on unceded traditional territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation, across from the Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park. It was built and fitted to tell the story of Native and early pioneers of the area, with an emphasis on logging and fishing.
There are special collections of Vivian and Easthope marine engines, antique bottles, Depression glass and more plus a gift shop featuring books, art, crafts, and snacks.
We also provide restrooms, wifi, internet access, outdoor displays, spacious parking and picnic area, and electric vehicle charging.
From Easter Weekend to Victoria Day we hope to open Thurs-Mon & from Victoria Day to Labour Day we expect to be open 7 days a week. Hours will vary depending on staffing & volunteer availability so please phone ahead to maximize your experience 604.883.9994.
